Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Welcome to Bracket. These terms govern your use of the Bracket app, website and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What Bracket is

Bracket is an online platform that helps customers find tradespeople and home-service providers ("Providers") in their area and contact them directly. Providers publish profiles and examples of their work; customers browse them or post requests that Providers can reply to.

Bracket is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a Provider. We do not provide home services ourselves, and we do not employ, represent or supervise Providers. We do not set prices and we do not collect any payment for the work. The work, price, schedule, warranty and payment are agreed directly between the customer and the Provider, at their own responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. You use it in your personal capacity, and each person may have only one account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a verification code we send to it. You are responsible for keeping your phone and codes secure and for all activity on your account. If you believe someone has used your account without permission, contact us immediately.

4. Provider obligations

If you create a Provider profile, you confirm and agree that:

5. Customer obligations

If you use the Platform as a customer, you agree that your requests are genuine and accurately described, that you treat Providers with respect, and that you check for yourself that a Provider is suitable before hiring them. We recommend agreeing on the price, scope and any warranty in writing (for example on WhatsApp) before the work starts.

6. Requests and price estimates

When you post a request, it is sent to available Providers in the trade and area you chose, and they may reply with a message and a price estimate. Estimates do not bind Bracket, are based on your description, and may change once the Provider sees the job. Requests expire automatically after a while, and you can close them at any time.

7. Verification

We may review a Provider's identity before showing a "Verified" badge on their profile. The badge only means that, at the time of verification, we saw an official identity document matching the name on the profile. It does not mean that we guarantee the Provider's skills, work quality, conduct or record, or that we recommend them.

8. Reviews

Only a customer who contacted a Provider through the Platform can review them, and reviews must reflect a genuine, honest experience. Fake, paid or abusive reviews are not allowed, and Providers may not review themselves or offer anything in exchange for reviews. We may hide or remove any review that breaks these terms, but we are not obliged to review or verify every review.

9. Prohibited use

You may not use the Platform to:

10. Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you post (such as photos, descriptions and reviews). By posting it, you grant Bracket a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, copy, display, resize and format it as needed to operate and promote the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except to the extent it was shared or relied on before deletion. You confirm that you have the right to post this content.

11. Fees

The Platform is currently free for customers and Providers, and we take no commission on the work. We may add optional paid features in the future; we will announce them and their terms in advance, and you will never be charged without your agreement.

12. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that information posted by users is accurate, or that a Provider is available in every area or trade. We make no warranty about the services Providers offer, including their quality, safety, legality or timeliness. Any dealing with a Provider or customer is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bracket and the people behind it are not liable for:

In any case, our total liability to you will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bracket and the people behind it from any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, the work you performed or requested, the content you posted, or your breach of these terms or of the law.

15. Disputes between users

Any dispute about work, price or payment is between the customer and the Provider. We may help with communication or take action against an account that breaks these terms, but we are not obliged to intervene, resolve the dispute or compensate anyone. You can report misconduct through support.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close any account, or hide any profile or content, at any time and without prior notice, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law or puts users or the Platform at risk. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app. Terms that by their nature should survive (such as the disclaimer, limitation of liability and indemnity) continue to apply after you stop using the Platform.

17. Changes to the Platform and these terms

We may develop the Platform, change its features or discontinue some of them. We may also update these terms from time to time; we will publish the new version with its last-updated date and notify you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

19. General

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in a reorganisation or sale of the Platform. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Bracket about the Platform.

20. Contact us

For any question or report about these terms, contact us on support WhatsApp from inside the app or from our website.
